Skin and Hair Care during Exams
With exams going on , the stress can create havoc on your skin & hair. With increased stress, our body produces increased cortisol levels which not only causes acne breakouts but also flares of skin and hair concerns like eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, dandruff and hairfall.
Here are some tips for a healthy and glowing skin during exams :
- Continue your skin care routine of cleansing , Moisturizing & Sunprotection
- Use a facewash formulated for oily and acne-prone skin if needed
- Always use a moisturiser on damp skin for best results
- Don’t break your zits
- Wash your hair as it tends to get more oily & flaky with stress and this triggers breakouts
- Eat healthy: Have fruits, nuts, roasted snacks, seeds & stay hydrated
- Take a multivitamin supplement with biotin, zinc, aminoacids to reduce hairfall
- Give yourself a break from studying by taking a quick walk, taking a long relaxing shower, or listening to music
- Visit a dermatologist at the earliest to treat any flares of your skin condition or treat acne marks and scars to prevent them from becoming permanent.
