Frizzy hair refers to the smaller, dryer strands of hair that stick out from the rest of your hair.
Firstly, use a Sulfate-free hydrating shampoo as this provides a protective coating keeping moisture trapped in.
Always use a conditioner as this helps to keep the cuticle hydrated . Apply it from the mid-lengths down to your ends and keep it away from your roots. Every two days you can apply only conditioner skipping shampoo, then rinse it out. Well, the power of a good conditioner should not be underestimated.
Avoid rubbing your hair with rough bath towels and avoid touching your hair as it dries as all this causes friction and friction causes frizz. Instead use an old t-shirt to dry hair (plopping) as this is gentle on the hair cuticles and prevents frizz.
Let your hair air dry 90% of the way , then use the diffuser extension of your hair dryer keeping it on a low heat setting and gently moving it around the hair.
Use a nourishing hair oil or hair serum without silicones and sulphates, on dried hair which will not only smooth out the hair but also add gloss and shine. Take a few drops of oil onto your palm, rub together and smooth over the ends of the hair to tame flyaways and frizz.
Hope you can enjoy smooth, shiny, frizz-free hair.
